  • What is Interactive Metronome® and how does it help adults?
Interactive Metronome® (IM) is a research-backed program that helps improve brain timing and function. For adults, it can support cognitive clarity, emotional regulation, memory, and physical coordination—especially after trauma, illness, or prolonged stress. Think of it as brain "rewiring" through rhythm and movement, helping your mind and body function in sync.
  • Who is this for?
IM is helpful for adults who are navigating: Brain fog, forgetfulness, or slower processing Anxiety, depression, or emotional dysregulation Concussion or post-brain injury recovery Trauma, PTSD, or nervous system overload Adult ADHD or sensory overload Balance or motor coordination issues If you're tired of feeling scattered, foggy, or overwhelmed—you're not alone. IM may offer the breakthrough you’ve been praying for.
  • Is this just for kids?
Not at all. Adults respond remarkably well to IM! In fact, many of our adult clients come to us after years of feeling stuck or exhausted by therapies that never addressed the root. IM goes deeper—targeting the timing network in the brain that affects everything from memory to emotions to physical movement.
  • What are sessions like for adults?
Sessions are 30–45 minutes and guided one-on-one in a quiet, supportive setting. You’ll wear headphones, follow auditory cues, and perform simple movements (like hand or foot taps) while sensors track your timing and provide real-time feedback. You’ll also receive support that honors your unique story and pace—whether you're recovering from trauma or simply want to feel more focused and clear-headed.
  • Will this help with anxiety or emotional burnout?
Yes. Many of our adult clients report: Calmer thoughts and more emotional regulation Improved sleep and resilience Less overwhelm in high-stimulus environments More mental energy and reduced fatigue IM helps retrain the brain’s rhythm, which calms the nervous system and strengthens your ability to self-regulate under stress.
  • Do you offer services online?
While in-person sessions are required for IM due to the sensor system, we offer virtual coaching, wellness planning, and trauma-informed support for adults navigating emotional or cognitive healing.

  • What is Interactive Metronome®?
Interactive Metronome® (IM) is a brain-based training program that improves timing, focus, coordination, and emotional regulation. It uses a rhythmic beat and movement exercises to help the brain communicate more efficiently. It’s like “fitness training for the brain,” strengthening the pathways that affect attention, memory, and self-control.
  • Who can benefit from Interactive Metronome®?
IM helps both children and adults, especially those who struggle with: ADHD or inattention Sensory processing challenges Autism spectrum disorders Learning delays or dyslexia Anxiety, trauma, or emotional regulation Brain injuries or concussions Every brain is different, and we create a custom care plan for each client.
  • How do I know if this is right for my child?
If your child struggles with focus, meltdowns, transitions, memory, or coordination—and traditional therapies haven’t brought the breakthrough you hoped for—IM may be the missing link. We offer a free 15-minute consult to help you decide if this is the right fit.
  • What happens in a session?
During each session, your child listens to a beat through headphones and responds with hand or foot taps. Motion sensors track how closely they match the rhythm. We use fun, engaging exercises to build progress, and give real-time feedback that helps retrain the brain's timing system. Sessions are 30–45 minutes and always guided by a trained professional in a calm, supportive environment.
  • How long does it take to see results?
Most clients begin to see changes within the first few weeks. Some notice improved focus, fewer meltdowns, or better sleep early on. Long-lasting results come with consistent sessions over time, typically 10–15 sessions or more depending on individual needs.
  • Do you offer virtual services?
Yes! While IM requires in-person sessions for sensor accuracy, we also offer virtual parent coaching, trauma-informed parenting support, and custom care plan guidance via Zoom or phone.
  • How much does it cost?
Pricing varies based on the length and frequency of sessions. We offer flexible packages and family discounts when possible. A full consult will give you a clear, transparent quote with no pressure.
  • Do you require a diagnosis or referral?
Not at all. We welcome families at any stage—whether you have a diagnosis or are just looking for support and answers. We believe in early intervention, proactive care, and walking with you every step of the way.
  • How is this different from tutoring or therapy?
Tutoring addresses what to learn. Training often helps with how to cope. Interactive Metronome® helps improve how the brain functions at its core—making learning, coping, and focusing easier and more natural. It’s not a replacement for other supports—it’s a powerful foundation that complements them. While we often combine reading and math during our sessions Interactive Metronome in and of itself is not tutoring. We will do everything we can to help your child be his/her best.
  • Can parents observe or participate?
Absolutely! We believe parents are key to a child’s success. You're welcome to observe sessions or receive updates on your child’s progress. We also offer coaching to help you support the process at home.
